In June I will celebrate my eightieth birthday. Never in my adult life have I discovered a better selection of devotionals. Charles Spurgeon is one of the greatest preachers in history, and these devotionals are a clear indication of his spiritual depth and Spirit-led interpretation of Scripture! These selections are the closest thing youll ever find to miniature daily sermons! For the Christian or the one searching for reasons to become a Christian, these devotionals are priceless in their teaching, daily guidance, and clarification of numerous passages of Scripture. I find NO reason to rate this devotional any less than 5 stars! Christian, purchase these selections by Charles Spurgeon - you will be very happy you did!

I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that when you go from the free version to the paid version, any bookmarks or notes you have dont carry over to the paid version. I hope that will be fixed some day.
Some bad moments
The app is very well written and the devotional is one if the vast available.
Sometimes, as I read the Daily Collection, my heart is moved to tears!
Great way to start the morning and to end the day. Thank you for putting this app together.
I love the concept of this app; however, the devotional text is obviously a translation to English and not a very good one. Reading was difficult because of improper English usage and so I no longer use this app. Disappointing !
The font is just the right size without a lot of other distraction on the page making it easy to read.the app always opens to just the right page.
A very good presentation of Spurgeons work "Morning and Evening", and an app that I use daily. Very encouraging stuff! If you like this one, also check out another of Victor Gohs apps "Faiths Checkbook-Daily Devotional" (again, authored by Spurgeon). Im still waiting on other devotionals by guys like C.S. Lewis, Jonathan Edwards, Richard Baxter, etc. Great job!
